About The Position

Safely transport and support mobile mammography units across Arizona, ensuring every site is fully operational, well-maintained, and ready to deliver timely, high-quality patient care. At SimonMed, the CDL Fleet Driver plays a critical role in expanding access to women’s health services by operating and supporting mobile imaging units across the state. This role ensures patients in communities throughout Arizona receive safe, reliable, and convenient access to screening services. This is a highly hands-on, field-based role that combines professional driving, equipment setup, and operational support. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid CDL Class A or B required
  • Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience required
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Strong ability to maneuver, back, and park large commercial vehicles
  • Working knowledge of DOT safety standards and HIPAA guidelines
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical checks, sanitation, and equipment setup
  • Ability to work independently in field-based environments
  • Willingness to travel daily across assigned regions within Arizona
  • Must remain reachable during working hours for operational coordination
  • Active CDL (Class A or B) required

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of CDL driving experience preferred
  • 7 years of Clean Motor Vehicle Record preferred
  • Occasional overnight assignments

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport and support mobile mammography units across Arizona.
  • Ensure every site is fully operational, well-maintained, and ready to deliver timely, high-quality patient care.
  • Operate and support mobile imaging units across the state.
  • Ensure patients in communities throughout Arizona receive safe, reliable, and convenient access to screening services.
  • Operate Class A or B mobile medical units, including maneuvering, backing, parking, and site positioning in varied environments.
  • Ensure mobile units are fully prepared for patient care through proper leveling, setup, breakdown, and site readiness within tight timelines.
  • Follow DOT regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and company safety standards while performing daily inspections and maintaining accurate logs.
  • Complete generator checks, fluid inspections, sanitation routines, and basic system maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Stay in close contact with site coordinators and clinical teams, ensuring clear updates on travel timing, site conditions, and operational needs.
  • Assist patients when needed and help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming mobile environment.
