About The Position

Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A or B driver to join its commercial front load team for local hauling. The driver safely operates a heavy truck with a front-load lift attachment to transport solid waste and recycling. The truck must have a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). The position is full-time and involves 50 or more hours per week, with overtime pay after 40 hours. Compensation is $32.00, with higher pay when designated for a route. Requirements

Previous experience in truck driving or a related field using a CDL.
Wisconsin commercial driver's license, Class A or B CDL.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to pass a background check and a CDL-DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a heavy truck with a front-load lift attachment designed to haul solid waste and recycling.
Load and unload cargo using automated equipment; wheel containers to a safe operating area before dumping when requested.
Track and document activity logs accurately.
Transfer material to the correct disposal site.
Report issues or incidents to dispatch.
Inspect the truck before, during, and after each trip.
Perform duties as scheduled by the Route Manager.
