About The Position

PODS is seeking a CDL Driver for local delivery. This role offers the stability of a national brand with the lifestyle of a local career, allowing drivers to get home every night. Drivers are responsible for safely delivering and picking up PODS containers, interacting directly with customers, and ensuring professional and efficient service. The position also involves assisting with storage center functions, forklift operation, and light container maintenance when not on the road.

Requirements

Valid CDL license
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 21 years old
Possess or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card
Minimum of 3 months of professional driving experience
Safety-first “zero-incident” mindset with no moving violations in the past three years
Strong sense of spatial relations for parking and navigating tight spaces
Comfortable climbing in and out of the cab (using three points of contact)
Comfortable operating a forklift
Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. or applying up to 40 lbs. of pressure for equipment operation
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong basic math skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a unique lift mechanism to load and unload containers in residential and business settings.
Complete local deliveries and pickups while following DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections to keep the vehicle safe and clean.
Use company-provided handheld devices for navigation, delivery confirmation, and communication.
Act as a brand ambassador, answering customer questions and ensuring container presentation.
Assist with storage center functions, forklift operation, and light container maintenance.
