CDL Driver
About The Position
QXO, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver to perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs. The driver will pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load. Responsibilities include notifying branch management of any potential hazards on site, setting up job parameters, and inspecting the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading. The driver will maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products and follow all DOT and company safety procedures, always wearing appropriate PPE.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
