About The Position

As a CDL Driver with Mauser Packaging Solutions Private Fleet, you are the final link in our customer service chain. Mauser Packaging Solutions is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries from food, personal care, paints, and chemicals. This is a regional/local route position with Monday-Friday workdays, and drivers are home daily. Safety is a top priority, and the company strives to ensure safety in facilities, trucks, and all aspects of the job. The role involves safe, timely, and accurate delivery to customers. Drivers will spend most of their day in their vehicle, managing their own schedule, routing, and daily activities. The company emphasizes a supportive team environment and work-life balance, offering flexibility for scheduling needs. Excellent benefits, pay, and overtime past 40 hours are provided.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • At least 23 years old.
  • Minimum 1-year on the road experience.
  • Willingness to move freight up to 55 pounds.
  • Valid Medical card with at least 90 days until expiration.
  • No more than 1 DOT recordable accident in the last 3 years.
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
  • No DUIs in the last 5 years.
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
  • Must be able to comply with all established rules and policies (safety, production, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work any shift and work time as needed.
  • Must be able to maintain an acceptable attendance record.

Nice To Haves

  • A Hazardous Materials Endorsement on CDL is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the final link in the customer service chain.
  • Ensure safe, timely, and accurate delivery to every customer.
  • Manage daily activities including driving, scheduling, and routing.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
  • Maintain all required company paperwork.
  • Follow all State & Federal regulations per Department of Transportation standards.
  • Effectively communicate in English.
  • Comply with all established rules and policies (safety, production, etc.).
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
