Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Two (2) plus years driving experience
- Current Commercial Driver License A
- Must have Department of Transportation medical card and medical release
- Willing to submit and pass Department of Transportation’s random drug testing
- Must have knowledge and willing to comply with traffic laws
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical, and MVR check
Responsibilities
- Efficient transportation of trucks for local large fleet customers to and from the shop for service and repair.
- Conducting quality control test drives and complaint verification test drives, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Documenting test results and completing road test performance sheets.
- Arranging lots as needed for enhanced truck presentation.
- Filling service trucks with diesel and coordinating the steam cleaning of trucks.
- Performing various errands, such as picking up parts from other locations and dropping off oil samples at Caterpillar.
- Maintaining a meticulous record of daily activities on a daily log.
- Covering for the lot porter as required.
- Following the Department of Transportation's safety standards.
- Performing additional job-related duties as needed.
