About The Position

GXO is hiring a Class A CDL Driver for local routes in New Albany, Ohio. The role involves driving a 53-foot tractor-trailer on site and public roads to help ensure safe, on-time delivery of customer goods. This is a touch-freight position, with drivers home daily. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pay starts at $34 per hour, with overtime available after 40 hours worked per week. A pre-employment drug test may be required after a conditional offer. Employees may be asked to perform duties beyond their normal responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment required for the position, or larger, within the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current, valid Class A CDL.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) over the past 3 years.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers, including tanks, vans, and flatbeds.
