About The Position

GardaWorld provides cash-management services across the cash supply chain, including secured transportation, cash management, vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash-recycler services. The company operates an armored-vehicle fleet and processes, manages, and moves over $8 billion in cash daily while providing 24/7 client support and logistical expertise.

The armored truck Driver/Messenger safely and efficiently transports valuables. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify transfers, and following rigorous driver-safety practices in all weather conditions. Employees must remain vigilant for the safety and security of customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and the driver must hold and maintain the licenses and permits required for the area.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid and clean driver’s license.
• Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
• Have strong customer-service skills and communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport valuables in an armored vehicle.
• Interact professionally with customers and build rapport in accordance with customer-service standards.
• Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer.
• Follow driver-safety practices in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Remain vigilant to support the safety and security of customers, colleagues, and the community.
• Maintain the guard and firearm permits or licenses required by state regulations.
