About The Position

CDL DRIVER Job Duties Responsible for delivering and servicing all Eagle Rock Distributing Co. products within assigned accounts Merchandises and stocks all coolers to effectively increase sell-through of products Manages, rotates, and maintains a neat inventory in each account Provides excellent customer service to accounts, effectively resolves concerns or issues with professionalism and in a timely manner Honors all personal and business commitments to all customers Operates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all traffic regulations Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, PODs collected and all related paperwork. Completion of daily DOT pre-trips and post-trips. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Valid Driver License and DOT medical card required
Clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years required
Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have excellent customer service skills
Requires a strong attention to detail
Must be able to meet company MVR standard
Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers
Must demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectively
Able to quickly learn product and account characteristics
Must be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize available resources to solve problems
Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hours
May require sitting or standing for extended periods.
Regularly lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance
Occasionally requires the ability to lift over 170 lbs. with or without assistance
Requires pushing and pulling of loads up to approximately 350 lbs. with or without assistance
Ability to maintain a professional image in public eye while performing the duties.
