About The Position

We are looking for a back up CDL Driver to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex back up CDL Driver you’ll be Ensuring timely movement of material trailers between the main plant and Polyco to ensure no stock outs occur, ensure weighing of all trailers are completed daily, inspect trailers for damage daily to ensure the fleet remains intact. As a back up driver you will be guaranteed 2 days a week driving the other days you will be supporting the warehouse employees, with sorting, and conducting various inventory management activities as it applies to raw material movement and various other activities assigned by plant supervisor. This is a Monday thru Friday 7am to 3pm 8 hour position. This role is a key member of our Operations team. Our operations team is guided by five beliefs; 1. We put people first; 2. Requirements

  • Experienced CDL Driver with a proven track record of safe and timely deliveries.
  • Skilled DOT compliance, and vehicle inspections. is required for this role

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a minimum of 5 years professional driving experience operating various commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and box trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Put safety first - always
  • Work as a team to drive our “people first” culture
  • Inspect trailers for damage daily to ensure the fleet remains intact (specifically trailers that are moved)
  • Unloading and put away of inbound shell stock loads and packaging as required
  • Unloading of pallet and gaylord trailers from the plant
  • Assist in plant film and repro loading for the plant
  • Perform bulk loading of material for the plant when required
  • Assist in cleanup and organization of the warehouse
  • Ensuring timely movement of material trailers between the main plant and Polyco to ensure no stock outs occur
  • Ensure weighing of all trailers are completed daily
  • Sorting, and conducting various inventory management activities as it applies to raw material movement and various other activities assigned by plant supervisor.
