About The Position

As one of the largest utility distribution organizations in America, Irby Utilities is uniquely positioned to provide dynamic solutions to essential utility services impacting our local and broader communities. We are hiring CDL-A drivers for our Des Moines, IA location. This is a highly visible, field-focused role where you'll travel throughout the region to support business operations and customer needs. This position requires flexibility, including overnight travel and some evening and weekend work.

Requirements

Strong organizational and communication skills
Commercial Driver’s License
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card and Clearinghouse consent
Ability to reach, bend, and lift/push packages that weigh up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Deliver merchandise to customers and assist with scheduling, loading, and unloading of materials
Comply with Irby and DOT safety rules and regulations
Uphold the integrity of the branch team through exceptional service standards and efficiency
