About The Position

Colville, Inc. is seeking a Transport CDL Driver for a full-time position in Valdez, Alaska. This role involves hauling fuel from the Valdez Refinery to the VPT using doubles (A-trains) and single trailers. The driver will work closely with Fuel Facility Operators, maintain a strong safety-first mindset in all weather conditions, and play a critical role in the company's transport operations and in keeping Alaska fueled and moving.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years commercial driving required.
Valid CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements required.
Clean driving record required.
DOT drug screen, physical exam, background check, FMCSA Clearinghouse clearance, and valid MVR.
Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Comfortable working in Arctic conditions.

Nice To Haves

Loop haul and fuel hauling experience preferred.
2 years of doubles experience preferred.
Arctic driving experience.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Experience with overlength trailers.
Preference may be given to drivers who are already based in Alaska or the surrounding region, or who can reliably meet scheduling and travel requirements with minimal relocation or commute impact.

Responsibilities

Drive Safely and Responsibly: Deliver bulk fuel in all conditions, including ice and snow; tire chains required.
Stay Sharp: Maintain accurate records, communicate clearly with dispatch and team members, and complete thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.
Operate with Agility: Frequently enter and exit trucks, hook up load arms at terminals, and adapt to changing schedules and operational demands.
