About The Position

Lakin Tire West, LLC. is North America's largest tire recycler and is hiring a Full-Time CDL Class A driver to run daily collection routes. The company collects and recycles over 190 million tires annually into raw materials for various products. This role involves working with a route helper to collect waste tires from customer locations, ensuring safe and world-class service. Responsibilities include completing all DOT and company required paperwork at each collection site. Requirements

• Must meet all FMCSA driver qualification requirements.
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
• CDL Drivers must be a minimum of 22 years of age.
• Must have at minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience.
• Drivers must have a valid Class A Driver’s License.
• Clean DMV record (less than 3 points, no moving violations or accidents in the past 5 years, no DUI/DWIs in the past 5 years).
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must have a common working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• If requested must be flexible with work schedule.

Nice To Haves

• Doubles endorsements are a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading tires (40lbs-75lbs) into trailers with the help of an assistant.
• Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Upholding a high standard of customer service.
• Transporting tires to and from customer locations.
• Ensuring load is correctly placed and is secure.
• Delivering materials to our recycling facilities or yards.
• Maintain documents per DOT guidelines, ELD compliant.
