About The Position

The truck driver will perform a variety of routine transportation work in delivering bulk feed to the farms our company works with.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL
• Ability to safely drive various vehicles
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and customers
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to perform manual tasks under varying weather conditions
• Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of duties such as hauling, unloading feeds, etc.
• Insure most economical use of time and equipment.
• Performing routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment
• Performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
• Serve patron in a manner that promotes our company, promotes customer service and delivers our patrons the services they need to succeed with their operations
