Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must possess a valid CDL-A license and possess a current, valid DOT physical
• Previous experience with shipping/receiving paperwork
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots)
• Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning
• Previous experience as a CDL-A driver

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver tractor trailers between LiDestri facilities and/or on LiDestri property
• Transport product between facilities utilizing tractor trailers
• Perform yard checks and move empty trailers throughout lot
• Apply security mechanisms (i.e. glad hands) and ensure trailers are properly seal to prevent theft and contamination
• May be required to assist with maneuvering the railcar
• Certified to operate lifts
• Assist with Shipping/Receiving needs or performing other warehouse duties, as time allows
• Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
