About The Position

As a CDL Driver at Fellowship Community, you will provide dependable transportation for residents, helping them travel safely and smoothly while improving their quality of life. The role requires compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and adherence to facility policies, privacy expectations, and safety practices. Fellowship Community provides a continuum of senior living services, including Independent Living, Personal Care, Skilled Nursing, Short-Term Rehabilitation, and Memory Support.

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Safe driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to push, pull, and move heavy objects repeatedly.
• Familiarity with geriatrics and long-term care.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely, courteously, and conscientiously.
• Operate facility vehicles and equipment in an orderly manner and follow established policies and procedures.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and assist with upkeep as needed.
• Maintain Pennsylvania DOT and OSHA compliance and follow HIPAA and privacy expectations.
• Support a safe environment by using universal precautions for infectious materials.
