The CDL Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to job sites for installation. This role involves driving and maintaining assigned trucks, and collaborating with dispatchers to plan routes and ensure timely deliveries. Essential functions include driving long distances, loading and unloading cargo, maintaining paperwork, refueling and cleaning vehicles, inspecting trucks and reporting issues, following traffic laws and accident procedures, keeping activity logs and hours, planning routes with GPS, and keeping commercial driver requirements up to date. The driver is expected to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
