About The Position

Are you a skilled and safety-conscious driver with a passion for delivering top-notch service? Join our team as a Class A Commercially Licensed Truck Driver (CDL)! In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe, timely, and courteous delivery and pick-up of equipment for our valued customers. You'll maintain accurate driver logs and confidently handle the loading and unloading of construction equipment in line with Department of Transportation standard.

Requirements

Class A Commercial Driver’s License
Knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
Proficiency with GPS systems and map reading.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace technology (cell phones, iPads, CRM, etc.).
Eagerness to learn and apply new knowledge.
Valid medical card and/or ability to pass DOT physical exam to obtain a medical card.
Minimum of 1 year of driving experience.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-trip inspections and address any issues immediately.
Deliver and pick up rental units with professionalism and care.
Load and unload construction equipment, ensuring loads are safely secured for transport.
Fuel equipment, inspect for damage, and tag accordingly upon rental return.
Complete Daily Inspection Reports.
Document equipment condition and damages.
Obtain customer signatures on rental contracts and damage inspection sheets at the time of delivery.
Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in proper working order.
