About The Position
The Driver Technician will be responsible for safe operation of a DOT regulated vehicle, transporting materials/equipment from point A to point B. This role also executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner, including the safe delivery of water treatment chemicals to our customers in the Northeast. Travel Requirements: This position services customers in the northeast 3 nights/week away from home on average
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL required
- 0-2 years experience operating a commercial vehicle
- Clean driving record
- Mechanical/technical experience preferred
- Hazmat/tanker endorsements preferred but not required
- Able to obtain TWIC card/DOT medical card
- Able to pass background check & pre-employment drug screen
- Able to drive overnight
- Work without direct supervision
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
- Must have customer service experience
- Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
