CDL DRIVER (Tanker Endorsement)

About The Position
Operate a straight/heavy truck or tractor-trailer to transport equipment. Plan and perform the loading and unloading of equipment in a safe manner. Secure load with appropriate rope, chains and binders, etc. as required by DOT and/or state laws. Complete pre and post-trip inspections to check for mechanical and safety issues. Perform basic truck maintenance such as fueling, checking fluid levels and addressing minor mechanical issues. Complete safety training as required by position. File and maintain necessary paperwork. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to drive a company vehicle
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and valid DOT health card
- Strong knowledge and understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulations including safety standards, logging regulations, hours of service requirements, and controlled substance and alcohol regulations
- Must have 2 years verifiable experience
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
