About The Position

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is seeking a Rigger/CDL Driver to fabricate and repair material while upholding safety values and standards. The role involves training in all aspects of Rigger duties and may require traveling to customer sites with a spooling truck as business needs dictate. Requirements

• Must be able to read measuring devices such as tape measure, calipers, etc.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy material to and from certain parts of the rigging department
• Class B CDL required at a minimum.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug test, and background check- including MVR.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Prior Rigging/ sling assembly experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
• General computer experience is a plus
• Class A CDL preferred

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair wire rope slings and assemblies
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in proof testing of products when required
• Ensure that equipment and tools used in the rigging department are properly maintained
• Utilize commercial vehicle to travel to customer sites and utilize the spooler as needed
• Perform other functions as required
