About The Position

Seeking an individual to drive a bloodmobile throughout Kentucky, to transport employees and equipment to blood drive locations, perform basic medical screening, and draw blood from volunteer blood donors. Requires excellent customer service skills, high professional standards, and the ability to learn new skills quickly. Must work well with others and have a desire to work with the public. Job-appropriate (non-certification) paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 25 years old
• High school diploma/equivalent
• Current CDL and safe driving record
• Basic MS Office skills
• Ability to effectively navigate web-based applications and systems
• Excellent customer service skills
• Reliability

• Ability to easily learn new skills
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Must work well with others
• Demonstrate a desire to effectively interact with the public

Responsibilities

• Drive bloodmobile throughout Kentucky
• Transport employees and equipment to blood drive locations

• Loading and unloading equipment
• Restocking supplies
• Carrying equipment up and down stairs
• Setting up and breaking down equipment at various locations
• Occasional work at donor centers
