CDL Driver/Operator (Class A or B) - Johnson Service Company Eastern Nebraska
About The Position
Johnson Service Company, a division of Midlands Contracting, Inc., is seeking a CDL Driver/Operator (Class A or B) to join our growing construction team. This position is based throughout Eastern Nebraska, and you can live anywhere in the region. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, dependability, and a willingness to travel. The role involves driving and operating various trucks, including boiler trucks and combo vac/jetting trucks, and performing routine maintenance and repairs. Physical labor is a part of each day, requiring the ability to lift, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
Requirements
- Class A or B CDL is required (or ability and desire to obtain a CDL).
- An excellent driving record is required.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually or as a team when carrying loads heavier than 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl throughout each day.
- Willingness to abide by all safety rules.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with driving and operation of various trucks including boiler truck and combo vac/jetting truck is preferred but not required.
