The Delivery Merchandiser – Small Store Relief CDL is a touch freight position responsible for delivering and rotating stock, as well as merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards. This role requires a high degree of flexibility to cover open needs of the driver team. The position involves transporting and unloading products to retail outlets, ensuring all product is merchandised according to Company standards, and working in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to achieve sales goals. The role also includes establishing positive customer relationships, providing superior customer service, and communicating store-level issues to management. Compliance with DOT rules for driving, collection of outdated product, accurate accounting of cases and transactions, and ensuring proper care of product and equipment are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the role may involve assisting with training and coaching delivery merchandiser trainees and building strong relationships with the customer base.
