The Delivery Merchandiser – Small Store CDL is a touch freight position responsible for delivering and rotating stock, as well as merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards. This role involves transporting and unloading products to retail outlets, working in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success, and establishing positive relationships with customers while providing superior customer service. The position also requires providing feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities, communicating store-level issues to management, and complying with DOT rules for driving. Additionally, the role involves collecting breakage or out-of-date product, ensuring accurate accounting for cases and customer transactions, maintaining the proper care of product and equipment, and ensuring route settlement daily. The Delivery Merchandiser will also deliver, rotate, and merchandise product on shelves, displays, and in cold equipment, maintain backstock in an organized manner, and keep coolers, racks, and shelves clean. There is also an opportunity to assist with training, coaching, and succession planning for delivery merchandiser trainees and to build strong relationships with the customer base across assigned customers. Appropriate duties as assigned by management will also be performed.
