About The Position

Graham Packaging is hiring a Local CDL Driver based in Casa Grande. This position will follow a 4 on/4 off schedule. This role involves making local deliveries between company sites and customer locations, ensuring products reach their destination safely and on time. The job offers steady daytime hours, regular home time, and the opportunity to contribute to smooth operations.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.
Clean driving record in accordance with company and DOT standards.
Knowledge of applicable DOT regulations and local traffic laws.
Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles including straight trucks, box trucks, and dump trucks with small trailers.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Drive and deliver materials safely across local routes connecting company facilities, warehouses, and customer sites.
Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
Secure loads using appropriate equipment and ensure cargo is protected during transport.
Maintain accurate driver logs and other required documentation, including delivery records and fuel usage.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure delivery accuracy and resolve issues.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including those specific to loading docks, forklifts, and packaging environments.
Provide routine vehicle maintenance checks and notify appropriate personnel of any mechanical issues.
Support warehouse operations and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
