About The Position
Coordinates and executes all transportation needs for residents to include medical appointments, facility outings etc. Assists all departments with transportation needs of residents and/or potential prospects. Responsible for vehicle maintenance and general up keep. Responsible for helping transportation coordinator get vehicles in for maintenance and service calls.
Requirements
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) - DMV Upon Hire(Required)
- Certified Auto External Defibrillator (AED) - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
- First Aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
- Drives personal vehicle for RHS business 25% or more of the time to perform essential functions of the job
- Valid Drivers License Required
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years Experience driving commercial vehicles
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates positive customer service behaviors consistently.
- Strives to meet/exceed the needs of the facility's customers/residents by demonstrating flexibility and sense of urgency to create a service excellence experience.
- Responsible for assuring safe practices in accordance with RHS policies and procedures.
- Responsible for notifying Transportation Coordinator or Director of Resident Services when required vehicle maintenance is needed.
- Demonstrates the ability to plan transportation routes to decrease vehicle mileage and gas consumption.
- Completes paper work to ensure that all records are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Responsible for maintaining transportation and maintenance logs for facility vehicles as well as logging residents participation on facility outings.
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and accomplish assignments with accuracy and timeliness (meeting work schedules, work assignments and completed by deadlines, received minimal customer complaints).
- Maintains positive interactions with fellow team members, residents and visitors.
- Assists customers with billing inquiries, questions or concerns.
- Provides follow up in a timely manner.
