A CDL Driver/Laborer position requires individuals to possess a Class "A" or "B" CDL license. The role involves operating various commercial motor vehicles and equipment, including straight trucks, flat beds, low boys, and tool trucks. Drivers will be responsible for hauling equipment between work sites and transporting work materials. A significant portion of the job, however, is dedicated to labor-related duties, which are physically demanding. These duties include unloading and loading materials, performing traffic control, and other physically intensive tasks. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, have a good driving record, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. The work schedule varies, and candidates must be available for overtime and rain make-up days. The ability to stay out of town overnight is required. The work area includes Western PA, OH, and WV, with some transportation assistance and per diem provided for out-of-town stays. Penn Line is a multi-state specialty contractor based in Scottdale, PA.
