About The Position

If you are a CDL driver who is tired of repetitive long-haul routes and wants to apply your mechanical skills in a specialized, high-impact field, this is the role for you. At MRR, you aren't just a driver; you are a critical technician helping to ensure the safety of our nation's natural gas infrastructure. As a CDL Driver / Field Technician, you will work hands-on with specialized mechanical systems, piping, and odorization equipment at job sites across the U.S. While you will spend time behind the wheel, you will also work on technical projects where precision and safety are paramount. No prior odorization experience? That’s expected! We provide full technical training.

Requirements

Valid CDL and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or be able to obtain within 6 months).
Strong mechanical skills with experience in truck repair or industrial maintenance.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors, on your feet, and for long days.
Willingness to travel throughout the USA (up to 75%).

Nice To Haves

Experience with pumping principles, fluid pressure, or flow.
Pipefitting, welding, or HVAC installation.
Basic electrical (AC/DC) knowledge.

Responsibilities

Safely operate box trucks, pickup trucks with trailers, and flatbed/stake bed trucks to client locations nationwide.
Install, remove, and maintain odorization systems, including tanks, small diameter piping, and Swagelok compression fittings.
Perform mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on natural gas odorizers and pumps.
Perform odorant transfers, remediate spills, and support pipeline "pickling" projects.
Maintain accurate DOT logs, work orders, and expense reports using tablets and smartphones.
