About The Position

Tree Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL Driver / Crew Foreman to lead daily tree service operations while safely operating commercial vehicles and equipment. This role combines hands-on tree work, crew leadership, and CDL driving responsibilities, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with tree industry experience, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage crews, equipment, and job sites.

Requirements

Valid CDL (Class A or B) with acceptable driving record
Minimum 3 + years of climbing and bucket truck experience
Prior crew lead or foreman experience strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of tree removal, trimming, and equipment operation
Ability to read job scopes, manage timelines, and make field decisions
Physically capable of demanding outdoor work in varying conditions
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

ISA Certified Arborist or willingness to obtain certification
First Aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL-required vehicles including dump trucks, chip trucks, trailers, and equipment
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
Transport crews, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
Operate and oversee use of chippers, chainsaws, stump grinders, loaders, and other tree equipment
Lead and supervise tree crews on residential and commercial job sites
Assign tasks and direct workflow to ensure productivity and safety
Serve as the primary on-site contact with customers when needed
Ensure proper cleanup and quality control at each job location
Enforce safety protocols and PPE usage at all times
Conduct daily job hazard assessments and tailgate safety meetings
Ensure DOT, OSHA, and company safety compliance
Report incidents, equipment issues, and safety concerns promptly
Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety practices
Lead by example with professionalism, work ethic, and accountability
