CDL Driver- Conveyor Truck
About The Position
QXO, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver for a Conveyor Truck. This role involves performing touch-freight tasks, including lifting, moving, or carrying products over 75 lbs. The driver will pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy. Responsibilities also include notifying branch management of potential hazards, setting up job parameters, inspecting sites for safe loading/unloading environments, and maintaining regular communication with the dispatcher for timely deliveries. Adherence to all DOT and company safety procedures, and wearing appropriate PPE are mandatory.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class B CDL license in good standing
- 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience operating manual transmission truck preferred
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
