CDL Driver - Conveyor Operator
About The Position
QXO, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver - Conveyor Operator to join their team. This role involves performing touch-freight tasks, including lifting, moving, or carrying products over 75 lbs. The driver will be responsible for pre-inspecting the truck, loading materials, verifying load accuracy, and communicating potential hazards to branch management. Additionally, the role requires setting up job parameters, inspecting sites for safe loading and unloading, maintaining communication with the dispatcher for timely deliveries, and adhering to all DOT and company safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Conveyor truck experience preferred
Responsibilities
