About The Position

Miscellaneous Metals, Inc. is seeking a reliable CDL Class A Driver to support local material deliveries to job sites across MD, DC, and Northern VA. This is a home-daily, safety-focused role supporting steel fabrication and construction projects.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license
1+ year of commercial driving experience
Clean MVR (no major violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
Ability to drive a manual transmission
Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)
Strong safety mindset, reliability, and time management
Must pass background check and drug screening
Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate driving requirements.
Ability to meet FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements, including pre-employment, random, and post-accident testing.
Maintain a valid DOT medical card throughout employment.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A commercial vehicle (47’–55’ trailers) on local routes
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections
Secure and unload materials safely at job sites
Complete required DOT logs and delivery documentation
Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and jobsite personnel
Represent the company professionally with customers and vendors
