About The Position

Drive tractor trailer to transport materials to and from specified destinations. This role involves driving a commercial vehicle to deliver donated items to and from donation sites, retail stores, and programs, as well as delivering salvage items from retail stores to the warehouse. The driver will utilize knowledge of commercial driving regulations and delivery routes to comply with all transportation regulations and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum One year of relevant experience in commercial driving.
• Must have CDL Class A driver’s license.
• Knowledge of driving a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to pass a 30 day road test.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.
• Ability to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or stressful situations.
• Must be able to sit, stand, grasp, push, reach, and bend.
• Must be able to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must have finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
