About The Position

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and efficiently using their well-maintained, company-owned fleet. This role ensures daily delivery schedules are met while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include unloading materials at customer sites using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift, placing materials precisely where needed.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record.
• A current CDL license (Class A/B).
• Ability to be a team player.

• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensuring daily delivery schedules are met.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.

• Placing customer materials where they are needed on site.
