About The Position

ABC Supply, America's largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking a licensed CDL Driver to advance their career. This role ensures the safety of each delivery from departure to completion, allowing drivers to work during the day and be home every night. Requirements

• Valid CDL – Class A or B
• Qualified to operate vehicles equipped with air brake systems
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required

Nice To Haves

• Knuckle boom truck experience
• Crane certification
• Hazmat endorsement

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of each delivery.
• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely.
• Document each step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with the camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough load check on the truck before leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are secured and the truck complies with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set materials and unload them.
• Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork precisely and timely.
• Provide the customer with an invoice upon completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials onto or off of trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.
