About The Position

ABC Supply, America’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking a licensed CDL Driver to advance their career. This role ensures the safety of each delivery from facility departure to job completion, including both ground and rooftop deliveries. ABC Supply is an employee-first company recognized for its positive workplace culture. This position does not require over-the-road travel.

Requirements

Valid CDL – Class A or B
Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (common cargo is 70-pound bundles of shingles)
Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required

Nice To Haves

Conveyor and/or Flatbed truck experience is preferred
Semi tractor and trailer experience is preferred
Trailer mounted forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely.
Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with a camera phone system.
Complete a thorough load check on the truck before leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are firmly secured and the truck is in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set materials and unload them.
Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork precisely and timely.
Provide the customer with an invoice upon completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries.
Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials onto or off of trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.
