About The Position

Colours, Inc. distributes automotive and industrial coatings, products, training, and services. The Class B CDL Driver safely and promptly transports automotive paints, coatings, and related supplies between company-owned locations using a 16-foot straight truck with a 14,500 GVW. The role primarily supports internal distribution and requires accurate, safe, and regulation-compliant delivery operations.

When not driving, the driver assists with warehouse operations to support productivity and efficiency. This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, with no overnight travel required.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement.
• Current and valid medical certification.
• Ability to pass required drug screening and criminal background checks.
• Experience operating forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, and liftgates.
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles, as applicable.
• Willingness to perform warehouse duties in addition to driving responsibilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more as required.
• Safe and compliant commercial driving practices.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order verification.
• Time management and route efficiency.
• Accountability, reliability, safety awareness, regulatory compliance, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 16-foot straight truck (14,500 GVW) to transport products safely between company locations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload inventory accurately.
• Verify shipment accuracy by checking orders before and after transport.
• Operate forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, and liftgates as required.
• Perform warehouse duties when not completing delivery routes, including receiving, stocking, order preparation, inventory organization, and general warehouse support.
• Keep the vehicle clean, perform routine inspections, and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, and transportation compliance standards.
• Maintain delivery documentation and records.
• Lift and move products weighing 50 pounds or more as needed.
• Maintain a clean driving record and represent Colours, Inc. professionally.
