About The Position

Tague Lumber is hiring a CDL Delivery Driver in our Philadelphia, PA location to operate our well-maintained vehicles and deliver building materials to local job sites. We are looking for drivers who are friendly, and provide professional service while ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials. Drivers are expected to operate all equipment safely and comply with all applicable highway rules and regulations.

Requirements

• CDL A or CDL B
• Previous driving experience, preferably in building materials
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Med Card)
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills require

Nice To Haves

• Operate a forklift (maintain certification) and/or pallet jack as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate our well-maintained vehicles and deliver building materials to local job sites.
• Provide professional service while ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials.
• Operate all equipment safely and comply with all applicable highway rules and regulations.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all materials are properly secured for transport.
• Inspect and process customer returns according to company procedures.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure required preventive maintenance is completed on assigned vehicles.
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies and DOT regulations.
