About The Position

US Foods is seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented CDL A Delivery Drivers to join our transportation team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive food products, supplies, and equipment accurately and on time while serving as one of the key faces of the US Foods brand. This position offers local routes, allowing drivers to be home every night, along with opportunities for career growth, competitive compensation, and industry-leading benefits. Drivers are responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, delivering products to customer locations, unloading merchandise using hand trucks, verifying deliveries, collecting payments when required, and providing exceptional customer service. The role requires frequent stops, heavy lifting of up to 80 pounds, and the ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have valid CDL A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT (Department of Transportation) qualified.
Minimum six months commercial truck driving experience or three months of foodservice or food and beverage truck delivery experience required.
Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation. All Truck Drivers must visit the Clearinghouse website and register to the new database.
