About The Position

This role is responsible for the safe delivery of products using SHEARER SUPPLY vehicles. The position involves unloading and loading equipment for deliveries, and the ability to drive on interstate highways is required. The job also includes maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse, stocking the warehouse, and ensuring the delivery truck and warehouse are kept clean. A key aspect of the role is creating customer value through friendliness and efficient order processing, while representing SHEARER SUPPLY with professionalism. The position requires achieving zero tolerance for damaged equipment during loading and unloading, and maintaining accuracy in shipping and receiving. Compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations is mandatory.

Requirements

CDL Class A - Required
High School Diploma or GED
Delivery Driver must be 21 years of age minimum
Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
Must be able to obtain medical card required by DOT before hiring on
Must be approved by Shearer Supply insurance company to drive company vehicle
Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test
Must have proof of U.S. Citizenship for I9 Verification
Forklift certification required or must take at Shearer Supply before getting on a forklift.

Responsibilities

Safe delivery of products in SHEARER SUPPLY vehicles
Unload/Load equipment for deliveries
Drive on interstate highways as required for deliveries
Keep a safe, clean, organized warehouse
Create customer value with friendliness and efficient order processing
Help stock the warehouse
Maintain clean delivery truck and warehouse
Know and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations
Represent SHEARER SUPPLY at customers business with professionalism and friendliness
Achieve zero tolerance of damaged equipment when loading and unloading equipment
Responsible for the accuracy of shipping and receiving
