The Service Specialist (CDL Delivery Driver) is responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle to deliver dialysis products to home patients and kidney dialysis centers. Responsibilities include delivering dialysis solution, managing stock rotation, ensuring order accuracy, and occasional order pick-ups and returns. This role is physically demanding, requiring deliveries in diverse urban and rural locations, with home deliveries potentially involving over 45 cases. The Service Specialist collaborates with various supply chain levels, including patients, regional office staff, customer service, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Minimum of 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
Air Brake endorsement.
MVR check must meet minimum standards.
Understand and follow all DOT rules and requirements.
Valid Medical Card.
Minimum of 1 year of driving comparable equipment with inside delivery experience preferred.
Ability to maintain driver HOS log using Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
Pass Industrial Capabilities Test.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong social skills.
Ability to facilitate and work effectively in diverse, multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Safely operate an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle.
Deliver dialysis products to home patients and kidney dialysis centers.
Deliver dialysis solution.
Rotate stock.
Assure order accuracy.
Perform occasional order pick-ups and returns.
Maintain driver Hours of Service (HOS) log using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
Perform multiple day routes that include some overnight travel.
Safely operate material handling equipment such as lift gates, ramps, pallet jacks, walkie rider, and Liftkar (stair climbers).
Follow all safety rules for equipment use and driving outlined by Vantive and DOT.
