About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class B Local Truck Driver to join our team. This position operates Monday through Friday on the 1st shift, with start times between 7:00-8:00 am. The driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pick-up of customer products, maintaining the organization of freight on the truck, and performing daily vehicle inspections. Paperwork must be submitted neatly and completely on a daily basis. Overtime is available when needed.

Requirements

Valid Class B CDL License
Age 23 and minimum 2 years experience
High School graduate or GED equivalent
Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Qualifications, including no "serious or disqualifying traffic violation" within the last 3 years
No more than 4 moving violations in the past 36 months and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months
Must be able to pass drug screen, DOT physical and Functional Capacity Physical

Nice To Haves

CDL Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsement preferred or be willing to get within 90 days of hire date

Responsibilities

Be a safe and courteous driver in accordance with JA Frate, CSA, and DOT policies and regulations
Delivery and pick-up of customers product in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain organization of product(s) on truck to prevent injury or damage to self or freight
Unload trucks using hand cart or lift gate when necessary
Submit neat, legible and complete paperwork daily
Daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle, submit VIR daily
