About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, motivated CDL Class B Driver to join our team. This position involves delivering building materials to residential customers and new construction job sites while providing outstanding customer service. In addition to driving, this role includes warehouse responsibilities such as loading and unloading materials, building orders, and preparing deliveries. Requirements

  • Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
  • Requires experience in commercial driving, knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Must operate forklifts/Moffett's safely, work in varied conditions, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Candidates must be 18+ (21 for interstate/hazmat), pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or CDL B) with Air Brakes Endorsement - Required
  • Current DOT Medical Certificate - Required
  • FMCSA Registration - Required
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings including background check, drug test, and verification via the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A/B vehicles within a 200-mile radius, following DOT regulations with no overnight travel.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
  • Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, collaborate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
  • Safely deliver building materials to customer homes and construction sites.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts and piggyback (truck-mounted) forklifts.
  • Secure loads and ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Build, stage, pack, and verify customer orders for accuracy.
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including organizing inventory and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Provide professional, friendly customer service at every delivery.
  • Adapt to changing delivery schedules and daily priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, dispatch, and other team members.
