About The Position

ISC Structures has an immediate opening for an experienced, reliable Class B CDL Driver with minimum 5 years of experience. The candidate must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test. A valid Class B CDL with a clean DMV record and a DOT Medical Card are required. Familiarity with safety and DOT regulations is essential. The role involves experience with oversized loads and maintaining vehicle operational status by following operating instructions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Must pass background and pre-employment drug test.
• Must possess and maintain a Class B CDL with clean DMV record.
• Must possess and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Familiar with safety and DOT regulations.
• Experience with oversized loads.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
• Ability to safely drive various vehicles.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
• Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization.
• Ability to work OT as needed.
• Must have the ability to work flexible schedule for emergency situations.
• Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Read and understand directions and maps.
• Must Have a Valid Class (B) CDL License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan route to insure most economical use of time and equipment.
• Obtain road construction materials from storage yard and move to/from job site.
• Transport equipment.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Keep accurate records and reports as required including a daily log.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
