About The Position

This is a full-time, first shift position for a CDL Class B Driver. The driver will be responsible for the safe and courteous delivery and pick-up of customer product in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires maintaining organization of product on the truck, unloading trucks using a hand cart or lift gate, submitting paperwork daily, and performing daily pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL License
• Age 23 and minimum 2 years experience
• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Qualifications, including no "serious or disqualifying traffic violation" within the last 3 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months
• Must be able to pass drug screen, DOT physical and Functional Capacity Physical

Nice To Haves

• CDL Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsement preferred or be willing to get within 90 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Be a safe and courteous driver in accordance with JA Frate, CSA, and DOT policies and regulations
• Delivery and pick-up of customer product in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain organization of product(s) on truck to prevent injury or damage to self or freight
• Unload trucks using hand cart or lift gate when necessary
• Submit neat, legible and complete paperwork daily
• Daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle, submit VIR daily
