Pro Disposal Inc. is seeking CDL Class B drivers for immediate hire in the Philipsburg Area. We are a family-owned waste management and recycling company serving Central Pennsylvania for over three generations. Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B or higher (no air brake restriction)
- Valid Medical Certificate
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a commercial vehicle (CMV)
- Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements
- Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Waste industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and DOT regulations
- Ability to work early morning hours and in outdoor conditions
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of trash trucks on residential and commercial routes
- Ability to operate Front Load, Side Load (ASL), Roll-off a plus!
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily safety inspections (DVIRs)
- Safely navigate routes, residential streets, alleys, and commercial areas
- Work with a Loader to complete routes efficiently and safely (if applicable)
- Assist with loading when needed, including bulk and large-item pickups
- Operate automated and semi-automated lifting equipment
- Transport and dispose of waste at designated facilities
- Complete route sheets, work orders, dump tickets, and required documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding delays, hazards, or service issues
- Identify and report damaged containers or equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck
- Refuel and monitor fluid levels as needed
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies, including Life Critical Rules (LCRs)
