About The Position
Austin Powder Company is seeking a CDL Class B Driver - Operator who is looking for a career to be home nightly, including weekends. This role involves being hands-on, working outdoors, and driving in a safety-first culture. The position offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of safely handling explosives, including inventory, loading, unloading, and transporting product at local distribution centers and customer job sites. Drivers will also operate MMU's (Mobile Manufacturing Unit) and learn the technical aspects of staging product in the field at customer job sites. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving but want a balance of hands-on work, being active (ability to lift 50 lbs), and find job satisfaction after a full day's work, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- CDL Class B with Tanker/Hazmat endorsements.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work Monday - Friday.
Nice To Haves
- Consideration will be given to CDL holders needing endorsements.
