CDL Class B Driver - Operator
About The Position
Austin Powder Company is seeking a CDL Class B Driver - Operator who is looking for a career where they can be home nightly, including weekends. This role involves being hands-on, working outdoors, and driving within a safety-first culture. The position offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of safely handling explosives, including inventory, loading, unloading, and transporting product to local distribution centers and customer job sites. Drivers will also operate MMU's (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and learn the technical aspects of staging product in the field. The ideal candidate enjoys driving but also wants a balance of hands-on work and staying active, with the ability to lift 50 lbs. This is a Monday-Friday position with job satisfaction derived from a full day's work.
Requirements
- CDL Class B with Tanker/Hazmat endorsements.
- Clean driving record (consideration will be given to CDL holders needing endorsements).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be available for a Monday - Friday work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Safely handle explosives, including inventory, loading, unloading, and transporting product.
