The role requires coordinating and handling mechanical mechanisms for product delivery, picking up and transporting goods, inventory, hazardous materials, and other cargo. Responsibilities include maintaining driving and delivery logs, verifying load contents against manifest documents, and tracking working hours. The job also involves loading/unloading and transporting materials, including overhead bin loading which requires fall protection. A key aspect is operating mobile manufacturing units (MMUs) onsite at customer locations to produce bulk products for blasting, ensuring consistent quality. Daily tasks include pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and complying with all regulatory requirements for the delivery of explosives. The role also involves operating mobile manufacturing equipment with precise chemical control and performing daily maintenance on location and customer sites.
